Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address and password, to create and secure your account
• Your display name, gender, age range, and bio — all optional except display name
• Trip listings you post: destination, dates, and any notes you add
• Interest/match requests between you and other travellers
• Chat messages you send in the General, Solo Male, or Solo Female rooms
• Reports you submit, and who you've blocked
• If you subscribe to Premium: billing status and renewal date (your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them)

How your data is protected between users

Your real display name is never shown on a public listing — only your gender and age range (if you've set them) are visible while browsing, and only to help others judge fit before reaching out. Your name is revealed to another traveller only after you've both accepted an interest and matched.

Reports are write-only from your side: nobody except us can read reports made against them. Blocking someone hides their listings and messages from you immediately.

Who we share data with

• Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication
• Stripe processes Premium subscription payments — we never see your full card details
• Resend delivers account emails (confirmation, etc.)

We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Cross-app Premium verification

If you're Premium, you can generate a short-lived code here to unlock extra features in the main Voywize app. That code only confirms "this code is currently valid" to the other app — it never shares your email, name, or any other personal data with it.

Your rights

You can edit your profile, unlist or delete a trip, and withdraw an interest at any time from within the app. You can delete your account and all associated data, or request a copy of it, by emailing us — see Contact below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or object to how we process your data.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use Voywize Solo.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
